When my father passed away in 2000, I closed GDC and took a year off in 2001 to travel and pursue other interests outside of business.

I went on to create financial planning software programme called “Mi Money”. It started as a desk top programme that produced a 5 page report showing what the benefits would be by refinancing your home from a principal and interest loan to a line of Credit. I designed the new look, feel and increased functionality of the program to incorporate investment properties, shares, and superannuation. Andrew focused on technical work to bring my ideas to life. After a year of development, the programme now web based produced a 34 page report showing investors how to build a portfolio that would assist them to pay off their home sooner and help them to achieve the income they desire in retirement.

I went to work on marketing the licensing rights to the leading banks in Australia. Great interest in “Mi Money” was expressed by Westpac, The Commonwealth Bank and Suncorp Metway. A contract under Licence was agreed upon.

Projects Completed 2003 to Present Day:

In 2003 I returned to property development. I founded the new business entities of Graham Development Trust, Delcorp Pty Ltd and Burrum Equity Capital Pty Ltd, Burrum Development Trust, General Corporate Trust and Bowen Land Holding Trust. These became known as “The Graham Group”. The group of entities provided me with a structure though which I would handle the project marketing, land acquisition and development of my own stock internally. Funding for the groups site acquisition and construction activitys was achieved by using my private portfolio of investment properties, which was then in excess of thirty properties strong.

I then went on to negotiate the acquisition of a number of sites listed below. After completing my due diligence and cost feasibility, I worked with council and successfully project-managed various teams of professionals to obtain development approval, then managed the groups of trades people who carried out the works required to bring my vision for each site into existence as outlined below.

34 Gatling Road Cannon Hill:
A small lot subdivision

40 Telegraph Road Bald Hills:
A small lot subdivision

8 Ross Street Burrum Heads:
A small lot subdivision

Lot 1 Burrum Heads Road, Burrum Heads:
A Rural subdivision

Lot 2 William Street Howard:
A 220 Lot residential subdivision

Current Organisation:

In 2011 I set out to help solve the homeless problem by writing a paper call “The Transitional Housing Program”. This endeavour involves a structure that utilises existing Charity’s and Government bodies. The structure provides these organisations with a complete guide a how to best work together to firstly rehabilitate, then reskill and help homeless people find employment. Working with these entity’s we have taken on the responsibility of providing the funding and construction of the housing portion of the program. To achieve this I started The Finview Group of companies and trust in 2012.  I then amalgamated it with The Graham Group.  10% of all monies earned through our commercial activities are directed into the program to help fund housing for the homeless. Finview is made up of a group of professionals whose goal is to empower people with the knowledge, confidence and tools to enable them to create the financial future they desire.
